Thanksgiving's parade

On Wednesday, Salma had her parade. She had fun and I've got to see how she is in her classroom. After the parade, they let us be in the classroom while they had their "Thanksgiving Lunch" She is very extrovert and polite!
I took pictures and videos of Salma and her classmates, her classroom, and some artwork that they had there.
Well, it was nice to be there and spend time with my Little S.





Baby K spent the morning with her Daddy. She even went to his office and took a nap there.


These days off we are "just chilling" and staying home most of the time because it is getting really cold outside.

I have been....

a very bad blogger. No so many posts lately, but we have been busy. Hopefully this holiday weekend I will take some time to post some recent pictures.
Now that I think about it, I rarelly took pictures this month.

By the way, We made Salma's board for school. It looks nice. The parade will be tomorrow in the morning. Yesterday, she went to her class trip to a children's museum. So excited to ride in the school bus. There, she said that had lots of fun. I could see she did because she was so tired and went to bed early last night.

En esta semana, Kelsey y Salma se enfermaron de gripe al principio de semana. Luego les segui yo. Ya hoy estamos mejor y "disfrutando" de este clima frio y ventoso que hemos tenido este fin de semana.
En la escuela de Salma, le tengo que ayudar a crear una pancarta para su parada que tendra la proxima semana. La pancarta es a cerca de su familia.
Kelsey es una experta caminando en el andador. Si se le atora retrocede y pa' delante otra vez. Ya esta comiendo muchas mas cosas (algunas ni deberia: como chocolate) pero le encanta de todo y si uno come te pasa la voz para que le envites.

Hey! like the new blog header? This picture makes me smile. As K is getting older, she is starting to discover her world around her. Smiles when she sees her sister coming back from school. As S is entering the house, K is moving and getting all excited about seeing her big sister. Sometimes they play together, and sometimes one even makes the other cry. Kelsey likes to touch Salma's hair, and sometimes she pulls it too hard and Salma goes to me and says "Kelsey is not nice"
It just makes my heart happy when I see my two girls together and having fun.

Salma couldn't stop laughing because Kelsey kept on falling to the side. So, when Salma laughed it made Kelsey laughed also :)

Quisiera guardar sus primeros trabajos de Pre-Kinder. Que mejor lugar que aqui en nuestra pagina.
Cuando regresa de la escuela, siempre reviso su mochila, secretamente deseando que haya algun "art work" que haya hecho y yo lo pueda ver. Cuanto quisiera poder ir a su salon y observarla (sin que me vea) para ver como es ella en la escuela. La maestra dice que es bien activa, inteligente y como todo lo que le dan.
Poco a poco se va soltando y me cuenta (voluntareamente) de como estuvo su dia. Se acuerda de todos los nombres de sus classmates. Como la semana pasada, sabia de que cada uno fue vestido por Halloween.

I am sooooo looking forward for next year. Baby K will be older, walking and having fun with her big sister at the park, the beach, the pool, etc.

Good morning

On Halloween...

we began the day with a "spooky walk" at Salma's school. The weather was nice and they got to go around the block.
After school, I took Salma downtown for "trick or treating" She was a bit confused because there was a lot of people and some had very scary costumes. Kelsey stayed with her grandparents and I heard she ate chocolate!!!





Both of them were so tired that fell asleep on our way home.

8 months old + VIDEO

She said "PAPA" last Saturday.
She started to use the walker.
She is very alert and wants to touch and grab anything that gets in front of her.
She does not like to wear winter hats.
She likes to grab and sometimes pull her big sister's hair.
